Recently Alex Iantaffi and I spoke at The Embodiment Conference about our upcoming book, Hell Yeah Self Care. Alex released the dialogue over on their podcast, Gender Stories.
Weโre discussed some of the key themes in the book, applying them to the current moment, including embodiment, intersectionality, trauma, plurality, and the non-binary approach.
You can check out the podcast here, and order the book here via QueerLit online bookstore, or from your local independent bookstore.
We have written a joint statement about The Embodiment Conference and the issues that have been raised with this event here, and there is an excellent piece which captures many of my feelings on the matter by Dr. Jess Glenny, Rev. Jude Mills and Dr. Theo Wildcroft here.
Alex and I just finished our annual writing retreat – online this time sadly for us. How to Understand Your Sexuality should be out late next year, including many similar themes of care, consent, intersectionality, embodiment, non-binary thinking, and trauma applied specifically to sexuality.

Response from the publisher… ‘Yes, the workbook will publish simultaneously in eBook. It will feed out nearer to publication (January) and will be available via all major third party eBook retailers.’ ๐
